E-bike Challenge: go electric!

E-bikes for long tours, lightning-fast speed pedelecs for work and trendy models that you like to cruise in the city with. You can try them out during the edition of E-bike Challenge in Jaarbeurs Utrecht.

The electric bicycle has now become an indispensable part of the street scene. People over 50, employees on their way to work, cycling enthusiasts and school-going youth; they all like to use electric assistance. In recent years, e-bikes have been hard to find.

Test event

The E-bike Challenge is one of the few events where you can test and compare indoor electric bicycles from dozens of brands. Because that’s the only way you can find out which e-bike suits you best. How does the motor respond to pedal pressure, how agile is the e-bike in corners and how good are the brakes? You will also discover the latest models and the latest technical gadgets. Every year there is a new world to discover in the field of e-bikes.

E-bike track

The beating heart of the Challenge is the large test course. With a length of approximately 1.5 kilometers, this is the largest indoor e-bike course in the Netherlands. Unhindered by wind or weather, you can comfortably try out the models of your choice. There is a separate fast lane for fast speed pedelecs, with which they can safely reach the top speed of 45 km/h. Stands of bicycle/e-bike brands can be found along the test track. The exhibitors will be happy to answer all your questions.

Fiets en Wandelbeurs

A ticket for the Challenge also gives access to the Fiets en Wandelbeurs (Hike & Bike Experience), which takes place simultaneously in Jaarbeurs. There you will find everything a cyclist needs: routes, packages, outdoor equipment, tents, burners, bicycle bags, etc.
