Construction
Building your own stand
You can start with construction and fitting out of your stand on Thursday from 12:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs and on Friday from 08:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs.
Standard stand construction
You can start with fitting out your stand on Friday before the fair from 12:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs.
General
Saturday from 8:00 am before the fair opens, you are welcome to finish your stand.
Some general rules:
- Soot filters are mandatory for diesel engined vehicles.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the halls.
- A forklift exemption must be requested from DB Schenker.
Access
You have access to the halls with a participant card or a (free) stand building card. Stand building cards are intended for personnel who are only involved in the assembly and/or disassembly.
Validity of stand building card:
- Thursday and Friday before the fair all day.
- Sunday after the fair from 5 p.m.
You can download stand building cards after logging in to 'My events'.
Report at Flanders Expo
Please report at the entrance gate with your participant card or stand building card. You must exchange these for wristbands immediately upon arrival at the organization room. The organization room can be found on the right side of the main entrance of Flanders Expo.
For Hall 1 you can use the entrance gates T4 or P8. On Fridays you can no longer drive into the hall with a car, the hall doors are closed. Transport (heavy) goods on this day using, for example, a trolley or hand truck.

Please report to the entrance with your participant card or stand building card, after which the doorman will let you through to load or unload. A particulate filter is mandatory for diesel cars.

Delivery of goods
Delivering materials for exhibitors is only possible from Thursday before the start of the fair. Address data:

Parking
Parking is free during construction days in the areas surrounding the complex. On fair days you can park passenger cars on PA1. You can purchase a parking ticket on site for €10 per day. The Watersportbaan (free and unsupervised) or Drongen (paid and monitored) areas are available for trucks.
Dismantling
Taking down the stand starts on Sunday at 17:00 hrs after the closing of the Fair. You are requested not to start the clearing of the stand any earlier. The electricity will be cut off at 17:00 hr sharp. The hall doors will be opened after the carped has been removed, at ca. 17:30.
Stand holders with standard stand construction
The stand must be cleared by 20:00 hrs on Sunday.
Stand holders constructing their own stand
You should start taking down your stand before 21:00 hrs. If you have not started taking down the stand by 21:00 hrs, the organisers of the Fair will do it and you will be charged the costs.
The hall must be ready for handing over empty on Monday morning at 00:00 hrs. Therefore, keep in mind that you have to dismantle in the (late) evening.
Waste
Please take your own waste away with you and do not leave it behind on your spot. You will be charged for the cost of removal of any waste you leave behind. You can pick up extra garbage bags in the organization room if necessary.
Security
There is security present at Flanders Expo at night and the halls are locked. Leaving property behind at the stand is entirely at your own risk. It is possible to request additional security staff.

Work safely
Access policy
While you are present you may be asked at any time to show your wristband, so you should wear it at all times.
Protective footwear
During the construction period before the fair, the wearing of approved safety shoes is mandatory.
