Early bird discount
Please note: early decision-makers benefit from a 10% discount on the bare floor space until 1 September 2026. This offer does not apply to stands in collective pavilions and cannot be combined with other discounts.
Hicle moves to a new home
In mid-September 2026, Hicle will move to a new office at Muiderstraatweg 15-C, 1111 PS in Diemen. Following a fire on 20 May, we had to leave our previous office at Weesperstraat 118-Q, also in Diemen.
Fortunately, we have been able to continue our activities as normal in the meantime and are fully focused on preparing for our upcoming events.
Our new premises will provide us with a spacious, modern workplace – a great new base from which to continue developing our events and plans.

New concept: Outdoor Weekend Gent
From 2027 onwards, we will present our events at Flanders Expo under the name Outdoor Weekend Gent. The Fiets en Wandelbeurs and E-bike Challenge brands will remain at the heart of the event. We are adding new activities that enhance the overall event experience.
Kickoff cycling and hiking season in Ghent
Flanders Expo in Ghent was once again the setting for the Fiets en Wandelbeurs combined with the E-bike Challenge on 28 February and 1 March 2026. Thousands of outdoor enthusiasts found plenty of inspiration for new trips and holidays.
A walk around the Veluwe wins Hicle’s hiking award
The authors Ad Snelderwaard and Menno Faber won the award for Hicle Walking Route of the Year 2026 with their guidebook “Een wandeling rondom de Veluwe” (A Walk Around the Veluwe). They were selected from a shortlist of six candidates.
Top events Utrecht attract large crowds
Cycling and hiking continue to be as popular as ever, as was once again evident during the Fiets en Wandelbeurs and E-bike Challenge at Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
La Voie Bleue is Cycle Route of the Year 2026
This delightful route in eastern France may carry the honorary title of “best cycling route in Europe” for a year.
IBTC 2026: Rerouting cycling & hiking tourism
