20 reasons for a celebration
In 2025 we will reach a new milestone for the Fiets en Wandelbeurs Netherlands with the 20th. edition of the event! An achievement that we want to celebrate, because in its two decades, the Fair has become a prominent fixture in the outdoor pursuits calendar. This year’s theme will be ‘a trip down memory lane’. Along with visitors and exhibitors, we will step into the DeLorean to re-experience past editions and to re-live earlier cycling and hiking holidays after which – Great Scott! – we step out safely back in 2025 again.

This is what Dutch people like doing most in their leisure time
It hardly comes as a complete surprise but walking and cycling emerge as the most popular leisure activities of the Dutch. According to the recent "Nederlandse Vrijetijdsonderzoek" (NVTO) having a walk is by far the most popular (34%) activity, followed by having a recreational bicycle ride (10%). These are daytime recreational outings from home, of at least one hour. Holiday outings do not count. In short: the Dutch are physically active people and the Fiets en Wandelbeurs is a perfect match for them.

Make your novelties an eyecatcher too
Every year there are many novelties to be discovered in e-bikes. The Trends & Novelties zone at the E-bike Challenge is the place to highlight your new developments for an engaged audience. This can be done near a presentation column, with the product being exhibited on a counter with or without a lockable glass case. The price level is very budget friendly, and the zone is a good space for companies who do not opt for complete stand.

Hire a lecture room: to avoid disappointment
Better to be early than too late, is the motto when hiring a lecture room at the Fiets en Wandelbeurs shows in Utrecht and Ghent. Exhibitors can hire a lecture room for one or more hours, but the capacity is limited. So it is advisable to reserve a room before 1 November. In the weeks of December, a large part of the lecture programme will already be filled in. Naturally we will do our very best to grant the requests and requirements of all exhibitors.
Reservations can be made via stefan@hicle.com.
