E-bike Challenge Belgium goes Fast Forward

The E-bike Challenge in Belgium will experience a new edition in 2025: on 1 and 2 March in Flanders Expo in Ghent. It is an excellent opportunity to profile your brand and reach thousands of potential e-bike buyers.

The large indoor test track of the Challenge with a length of approximately 1 kilometer is unique in Belgium. Visitors can try out e-bikes and speed pedelecs from dozens of brands and find the model that suits them best. The stands of the participating brands are directly adjacent to the track. Exhibitors can can introduce an e-bike model to a visitor and immediately hand over that e-bike for a test drive. And that formula works according to our surveys; 49% of visitors decide on their purchase at the E-bike Challenge.

Combi with Fiets en Wandelbeurs

In 2025, there will once again be a combination of the Challenge with the Fiets en Wandelbeurs (Hike & Bike Experience). Two events that complement and strengthen each other. Visitors to the Fiets en Wandelbeurs are also interested in electric bicycles and like to take a look at the 'neighbours' to view and test the latest models. The e-bike has become the standard for many recreational cyclists. It gives them the opportunity to extend their cycling career and to enjoy the surroundings more intensely. Thanks to the electric support, they can not only (continue to) make longer trips, but also take the steepest slopes with a smile. In 2024, 14,786 cyclists and walkers visited the combination of the E-bike Challenge with the Fiets en Wandelbeurs.

Fast Forward and novelties

The theme of the Challenge 2025 is Fast Forward. And that doesn't just refer to the speed that e-bikes or speed pedelecs can develop. Every year, brands present all kinds of innovations at the Challenge. Batteries that charge even faster and that let you ride even further. Motors that run quieter than ever and are even more in line with the real cycling experience, or helmets with built-in communication equipment. And many brands stand out because of their sleek and sporty design. For companies that will not quickly opt for a full stand, the Trends & Novelties zone offers a great opportunity to show their innovations to the public at a budget-friendly price. More information about Trends & Novelties can be found on this page.

We look forward to welcoming you on 1 and 2 March 2025 to the next edition of the E-bike Challenge Belgium!
