Events thrive with successful 2025 editions

The Fiets en Wandelbeurs / E-bike Challenge experienced two successful editions in Jaarbeurs Utrecht and Flanders Expo Ghent. Events during which we welcomed a total of over 38,000 (24,165 in Utrecht - 14,391 in Ghent) cycling and walking enthusiasts. Our conclusion: the fair literally gets people moving and remains a perfect platform to bring supply and demand together. We thank our visitors, exhibitors and volunteers for their energy, enthusiasm and great atmosphere!

Meanwhile, we are already looking forward to our fairs in 2026. On February 13, 14 and 15, 2026 there is a new Fiets en Wandelbeurs / E-bike Challenge edition in Jaarbeurs Utrecht, on February 28 & March 1, 2026 Flanders Expo in Ghent is the setting for these events. We have a great offer for early birds. Those who register before September 1, 2025 will receive a 10% discount on the bare floor space. In short: don't let this early bird fly away!

Enthusiastic response to the 2025 IBTC edition

The IBTC, or International Bike & hike Tourism Conference, also had a successful edition. Over ninety professionals from 13 countries attended the varied day program in Domstad in Utrecht. The theme was 'Next generation routes & concepts'. The mix of topics chosen for the sessions and the opportunity to network led to many enthusiastic reactions. Keep February 12, 2026 marked in your agenda, the day before the start of the Fiets en Wandelbeurs Utrecht. Then there will be a new edition of the IBTC in Domstad Utrecht. 

Election Hicle Cycle route & Hiking route of the Year 

Our congratulations to the Göta Kanalleden in Sweden and Ieperboog Oost in Belgium, which have been chosen as the Hicle Cycle Route and Hiking Route of the Year 2025, respectively. During the Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Utrecht and Ghent, representatives of these routes received the coveted Hicle awards. Hippo Expo, a new event for horse lovers

Together with the Belgian company Paarden Zorg (Horse Care), Hicle is organizing the event Hippo Expo, a brand new fair for the recreational horse owner and the amateur sport rider. On May 17 and 18, 2025 the first edition will take place at Antwerp Expo, an easily accessible and popular fair location. With this, Hicle further expands its event portfolio. And the enthusiasm for Hippo Expo is great, we notice. The event is almost sold out in terms of stand space and ticket sales are running above expectations.
