There's our party...
During the celebration of the 20th edition of the Fiets en Wandelbeurs in the Netherlands, we step back in time and turn the clock back to the 19th and 20th centuries. For example, the Utrecht Bike Community presents its mobile Cyclists Museum and De Oude Fiets (The Old Bicycle) association shows a number of historical models: from penny-farthing to granny bike. The lectures also pay attention to history. Author Flip van Doorn talks about the first walker in the Netherlands: pastor Jacobus Craandijk. And science journalist Jaco Berveling tells stories about pre-war cyclists and hikers who made adventurous trips abroad, at a time when that this type of travel was… trendy.

Fair edition of Wandelmagazine and Bike explorer
In the run-up to the upcoming Fiets en Wandelbeurs, a special, combined fair edition of Wandelmagazine (Walking Magazine) and Bike explorer will be published, which reaches around 150,000 cyclists and walkers in the Netherlands and Flanders. This concerns a print publication in combination with a free online magazine. We can make our exhibitors a special offer of an advertisement in the print edition in combination with an advertorial in the online magazine. Interested? Exhibitor lectures through the Jaarbeurs roof
To participate with a stand and to give a lecture about a destination, service or product; it is a golden combination. The lecture arouses interest among the audience and subsequently ensures a targeted visit to the stand. Exhibitors recognize its value, especially at the Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Utrecht. More than 40 lecture slots have already been taken by participants, a record. As a result, the program is almost full. There are still the necessary slots available for exhibitor lectures at the Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Ghent. Interested? Send an email to stefan@hicle.com for more information.
