Hicle’s Cycle route of the Year

Put your route in the spotlight!

Are you proud of a beautiful new or recently improved cycling route? Then this is your chance to let it shine before a large audience! The “Cycle Route of the Year” award, organized by Hicle, is the perfect platform for European destinations to showcase their finest routes.

With this prestigious competition, we encourage destinations and authorities to develop and promote high-quality cycling routes. An expert jury of cycling journalists rides the full length of each nominated route. The winner will be announced at the Fiets en Wandelbeurs 2026 in Utrecht — earning a valuable seal of quality in the cycling world.
