Unfortunately… no E-bike Challenge and
E-bike Xperience in May 2021  

A few weeks before the upcoming edition of E-bike Challenge in Ghent (1-2 May) and E-bike Xperience in Utrecht (7-8 May), we are forced to cancel these events. The number of corona infections is still relatively high and there is no way of knowing when the measures will be less restrictive.

This is, of course, a difficult decision. Certainly in the field of e-bikes, there will be plenty of opportunities in the spring of 2021. There is a great demand for electric bicycles. Many brands have expressed an interest in participating in our events. But in these uncertain circumstances it is not justified to continue with the editions of E-bike Challenge and E-bike Xperience in May.

The cancellation of the Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Ghent and Utrecht also plays a part in the decision.The combination of the two events have an important added value for E-bike Challenge / E-bike Xperience, and vice versa. It would be a pity if exhibitors can not profit from this.

Online Experience

For 2021, we present a 'corona-proof' alternative in the form of the Fiets en Wandelbeurs Online Experience on 23 and 24 April. We invite you for participation.

At the Online Experience we will set up a special digital hall for e-bike exhibitors.  Even though visitors are not able to test the e-bike in person, you can show off your latest models in the stand and a workshop room, chat or videocall with visitors and you can invite them for a test ride at your local dealer or at a test location.

The Online Experience is an initiative of the Fiets en Wandelbeurs in the Netherlands and Belgium. With one participation you reach a large number of potential e-bike buyers in both countries. You can read more on our website here: e-bike hall.

New dates in 2022

In the meantime, we are looking at new dates for E-bike Challenge and E-bike Xperience. What is certain is that we want to organize a new edition in February 2022, together with the Fiets en Wandelbeurs. We are in consultation with Jaarbeurs Utrecht and Flanders Expo for the exact dates.
